Our Market Mission
The goal of the Between the Rivers Farmers Market is to bring the best of
the community together to offer local, sustainable foods and unique arts and crafts in a colorful, vibrant
urban setting. On the first and third Saturday from May through September, the market aims to host local musicians, cooking
demonstrations, and celebrations of the nearby neighborhoods’ exciting cultural diversity. BTRFM will
connect the community with established Georgia family farmers, food artisans, and artists that promote
healthy lifestyles. The Market will be held on the first and third Saturday of the month at Bridgepoint Plaza in Rome, Georgia
starting Saturday, May 1, 2021, and will run through September.
Our History
In the summer of 2018, a small group of local farmers and business owners realized the demand for a producer-only and sustainability-focused local farmers market. After hosting a few Pop Up, Pop In markets on Broad Street, the response to the markets made it clear that Romans are eager to spend their Saturday mornings in a community setting, supporting local food and artisan producers.

We produce raw cows milk for pets from grass-fed Jersey cows, pasture raised non-GMO eggs, grass-fed beef, and lamb, as well as pasture raised, non-GMO poultry and pork. No antibiotics or hormones used; pastures are not treated with pesticides, herbicides, or commercial fertilizer.
